"AIDS" has a deceptively positive connotation, while "treatment" has a deceptively negative connotation. If they were both on a menu at a restaurant I'd never visited before, I would pick "AIDS". My gut instinct hates me.

Since when has AIDS had a positive connotation? The only time I want to hear the word "AIDS" is "We've made a of series of lemonAIDS for you to drink."
"AIDS" is deceptively close to "aides" which has a good connotation, unless you are Bill Clinton.
